Cheesecake is a classy favorite! While creating the cheesecake of your dreams can often be time-consuming and daunting—especially with the typical use of a water bath—this recipe simplifies the process. With minimal steps and nutritious ingredients, it’s a hit among both bakers and taste testers!
This recipe features a nutritious twist with Greek yogurt! It adds a hint of tartness that pairs perfectly with whole fruit or jelly on top. Greek yogurt is a probiotic, meaning it contains live bacteria cultures that can enhance the diversity of your gut microbiome. With a lower sugar content in the cake, this treat will leave you feeling satisfied in more ways than one!
Healthful insight: Dairy foods are milk and milk products. These products are a good source of protein, pantothenic acid, calcium, phosphorous, riboflavin (B2), often contain vitamins A and D through fortification, and yogurt especially retains its calcium content after processing.
Healthful info: Yogurt contains less of the vitamin cobalamin; however, its absorption may be better due to the presence of dairy product containing binders.
